This is a child's doll or toy trunk with a flat top made out of pine. Not sure when this was made. The lock and dove jointing denotes 1890 - 1920. Original hardware was cleaned of dirt and rust and tung oil was applied. Material was applied inside with a tray made and upholstered. The tray is not crooked...just a little off on the printed lines :).
There are no handles, just one on top. The lock does not have akey. Measurements are
18 1/2" wide x 10 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" deep.
