Circa 1850 Jenny Lind trunk with original tray, and hardware. Old leather was removed from cedar wood, sanded and tung oil was applied. New handles were affixed to sides using Jenny Lind styled buttons and new leather keepers. The handles are modeled after the original handles. Lock does not have key. The tooling design on the old leather has transferred onto cedar wood on top of trunk after 150+ years. There are all original brass buttons on trunk except for one on the side. New lithograph on inside of lid.
Measurements are 29" wide x 14" tall x 16" deep.
